V.O.I.C.E.S Radio, LLC

Ten years in the making — we celebrate, reflect, and rise.

From grassroots radio to community leadership, from two-jobs hustle to full-time voice, this anniversary episode honors the women, the movements, and the messages that built us.

We shine a spotlight on the unforgettable Martha Jean “The Queen” Steinberg, radio legend, activist, and icon of Black woman power in the airwaves. Her legacy reminds us that voicing truth is sacred work.

We revisit key moments in U.S. and Albany, GA—reckonings around police violence, climate disasters, community resilience—and how those big tides shaped us, cracked us open, and demanded we act.

We also rewind to the early days: the twice-a-week broadcast, former co-host Chris Jenkins of See The Vizion, the mission born out of activism, media influence, and a calling to educate, empower, elevate.

It’s more than celebration—it’s a commitment. To being the voice. To making space for others. To healing, to growing, to lifting as we climb.

Join us as we reflect on the past ten years—lows, highs, lessons, the grind, and the fire that keeps us moving forward.
